As anyone searching for guaranteed mobile phone contracts would be well aware, the choice of handsets available can become overwhelming quickly.  A few key industry leaders are constantly competing with new model releases, but for many phone fans there is still only one choice.  Apple is maintaining a massive market share, but according to rumours it’s set on increasing that significantly with the release of the tentatively-named iPhone 6S.

As is becoming the norm, Apple is expected to “surprise” us all with the announcement of the new model in September, with a launch in the UK and worldwide to follow at the end of the month, according to leaked plans.  Initial rumours suggest that the iPhone 6S will follow the standard set by previous “S” models, adding some advanced features and fine-tuning to the same basic concept as the iPhone 6S.  It will most likely come in exactly the same choice of sizes and look very similar, but offer a bit more to convince the most discerning customers it might be time to switch from Android and other rivals.

The big difference, however, is the impact Apple is planning to make with this model.  Initial reports suggested Apple was gearing up to manufacture an initial shipment of around 50 million units, but if we are to believe the latest “industry sources” the actual figure is closer to 90 million.  This would be the biggest ever order of iPhones by far, which would help Apple snatch an even bigger market share and avoid a backlog of pre-orders.

Of course, the hype machine can only take the product so far, even if it is Apple.  The device itself has a lot to live up to, and needs to address real users’ issues with the iPhone 6 if it stands a real chance of becoming the biggest selling model to date.  Only time will tell if these rumours are all true – some insiders think the new device will be so advanced it will actually skip the “S” stage and become the iPhone 7, while others are preparing for slight disappointment.

With Apple looking to further increase its market share, we might also expect them to look to users with lower budgets or those who have struggled to get new contract phones with no credit checks.  At MobileCrazy we specialise in helping people with bad credit get guaranteed mobile phone contracts by comparing your choices with you, assisting with your application and offering more support wherever we can.  To find out what we can do for you, feel free to enquire right here at any time.
